First introduction
I started on a loaner frame at ACO Ommen. From that moment I knew this was my sport.
Races
I quickly took part in several races, from Ommen to Hardenberg.
My own frame
In Hengelo I chose my own frame in petrol green. After that I started training with focus for my goals in 2026.
Bringing the frame home
During the Christmas holidays I took my frame home and rode through the center of Ommen.
Keep practicing
Every training session I get faster and stronger. On to the next goals.
On the road with my own frame
Already early in 2026 I started doing street races!
The Rijssen adventure
Our trip to Rijssen started with a delay because an extra frame had to come along. Our own trailer only fit one frame, but luckily that got sorted out. Finally on our way! When we thought we'd arrived, we suddenly found ourselves at the wrong athletics field. So back into the car to the right track! Once there, my tires also needed a quick pump-up, and after that I could luckily go straight to the start. I had to run the 100 meters right away. Because everything had to happen so fast, in the stress I didn't even remember the distance anymore and didn't even have time for a warm-up!
